Workshop Organised by the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office

On 27-28 July 2022, CPI was invited to a workshop in Baghdad organised by the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with the ICRC and with the participation of UNITAD, ICMP and several members of various Iraqi ministries, in particular the Ministry of Defence, the Adviser to the Iraqi State Council, the Compensation Committee of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice and the Iraqi National Committee for International Humanitarian Law. The aim of the meeting was to harmonise the joint efforts of the local authorities and relevant international actors involved in knowing the fate of missing persons.
