Talafar Spring Safari

On the 26th of March, 2022, the Cordoba Cultural Café organised an informative cultural trip entitled “Talafar Spring Safari in the orchards of Talafar”. The trip was attended by a group of intellectuals, artists, activists and representatives of local organisations in Talafar. The informative cultural trip aimed to highlight the common history and culture for Talafar, as well as the beautiful orchards of Talafar, the only common heritage left after the bombing of Talafar Castle by ISIS, to encourage the youth to organise such activities that promote peace and coexistence in the town. The trip also included a cooking session of some traditional Talafar dishes. As a result, the participants decided to approach the local government to allocate part of the Talafar city budget for orchards and Talafar Castle.
