Young Female Readers Contest
Supported by CPI and supervised by the Cordoba Cultural Café team, a group of young girls from Tal Afar participated in the Young Female Readers Contest organised by the “Books’ Sidewalk of Mosul” on 18 August 2023. More than 200 participants took part in the competition in Mosul, where Baidaa Zeinal Yaquob, a reader and student at Umm Al-Qura Girls’ School in Tal Afar district, won first place in the primary stage of the competition. The competition involved reading the 320-page book “The Art of Handling Situations”.
