Prof. Johan Galtung, member of CPI’s Advisory Committee, died this morning in Oslo. More than his enormous contribution to the field of conflict and peace studies, he always stood up against all forms of injustice. We at CPI were privileged to have had him as a friend. توفي البروفيسور يوهان غالتونغ، عضو اللجنة الاستشارية لمعهد قرطبة للسلام، هذا الصباح في أوسلو. بالإضافة إلى مساهمته الهائلة في مجال دراسات الخلاف والسلم، فقد وقف دائمًا ضد جميع أشكال الظلم. لقد تشرفنا في معهد قرطبة للسلام بجنيف بصداقته. نتقدّم بتعازينا الخالصة لأسرته وأصدقائه (جنيف، 17 فبراير 2024).

Prof. Johan Galtung, membre du Conseil consultatif de CPI, est décédé ce matin à Oslo. Au-delà de son immense contribution aux études sur les conflits et la paix, il s’est toujours élevé contre l’injustice. A CPI, nous avons eu le privilège de le compter parmi nos amis.
