Training Workshop for The Ministry of Peshmerga

 Erbil, 7-8 March 2023

A training workshop on International humanitarian law and Islamic law was conducted in Erbil on the 7th and 8th of March, 2023. More than 33 officers from the Peshmerga forces attended the training coming from different governorates of the Kurdistan Region – Iraq. The training which consisted in presentations, hypothetical training exercises, and discussions, focused in particular on how to interact professionally and respectfully with affected families of missing persons.
