Our Heritage is Our Identity Festival

On 7 October 2022, CPI organised a cultural and artistic event entitled “Our Heritage is Our Identity Festival” in Talafar, Iraq. This event brought together a diverse group of people, including the Mayor of Talafar, representatives of the local government, local NGOs, tribal figures, artists and musicians. The festival included a range of activities, including a children’s theatre performance, a short film and an art exhibition. The “Our Heritage is Our Identity” festival was a message of peace, art, life and maintaining Talafar’s identity, and showed that there are creative youth and talents in the town that deserve attention and support. The festival was a success in promoting social cohesion and cultural appreciation in Talafar.
