Kick-off workshop “Building Bridges” project EU Nigeria

From February 10th to 16th, CPI’s Geneva-based teams led a mission in Minna to kick off the “Building Bridges” project funded by the European Union, alongside its implementing partners. The week-long initiative, gathering 25 participants, focused on a Project Management Training (PMT) session to refine implementation strategies and strengthen partnerships.

This mission provided a critical opportunity to address challenges, reinforce collaboration, and ensure the project’s long-term impact in fostering interfaith dialogue and community resilience with the objective of reducing interfaith violence in the Middle Belt region.

The project also has a key social media component to raise awareness and target disinformation and misinformation campaigns which fuel tensions in the region.

We are excited to move forward with this initiative, confident that the partnerships and strategies developed will drive meaningful change and strengthen interfaith cooperation in the region.
