The Cordoba Update, January – March 2019

Dear Reader,
We are pleased to present this new edition of our Cordoba Update after a winter break, and to inform you that henceforth our newsletter will be published quarterly.
In this new issue, Algeria and the Sahel take centre stage. Lakhdar Ghettas, our PVE program manager and expert on Algerian issues, answers our questions about the unprecedented events currently taking place in Algeria. And Abdoulaye Bâ, who is in charge of our Sahel program, focuses on ” The Communitarianism of Violence in the Sahel: States Confronted with the Challenge of Identity”, and makes a number of concrete and effective recommendations.
We hope you enjoy reading this selection, and we look forward to sharing our next newsletter in June.
