Peace Promotion Workshop in the Sahel Region, Nouakchott, 2014
Within the framework of the new Sahel Program, launched at the Sahel Experts Meeting, which took place on 28 and 29 January 2014 in collaboration between the Cordoba Foundation of Geneva and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, a workshop on the promotion of peace in the Sahel region was held in Nouakchott, Mauritania from 1st to 3rd September 2014. The workshop was attended by 21 participants from Chad, Niger, Mali, and Mauritania, where they jointly analyzed the current situation focusing on the main dynamics and conflicts lines, identified potential entry points and highlighted the main actors in the region.

ورشة عمل حول ترقية السلم في منطقة الساحل – سبتمبر 2014
في إطار برنامج الساحل الذي تمّ إطلاقه خلال إجتماع خبراء الساحل المنعقد يومي 28 و 29 جانفي 2014، بالتعاون بين مؤسسة قرطبة بجنيف و الوزارة السويسرية للشؤون الخارجية، فقد تمّ عقد ورشة عمل حول ترقية السلم في الساحل بمدينة نواكشوط بموريتانيا من 1 إلى 3 سبتمبر 2014. وقد ضمّت الورشة 21 مشاركًا من كلّ من تشاد، النيجر، مالي، و موريتانيا، قاموا خلالها بتحليل الوضع الراهن في المنطقة مع التركيز على الديناميات الرئيسية و خطوط النزاعات، تحديد نقاط الدخول المحتملة من أجل مبادرات فعّالة و أبرز الجهات الفاعلة الرئيسية في المنطقة.

Atelier sur la promotion de la paix au Sahel – septembre 2014
Dans le cadre du nouveau programme Sahel, lancé lors de la réunion des experts du Sahel, qui a eu lieu le 28 et le 29 janvier 2014, en collaboration entre la Fondation Cordoue de Genève et le Département Fédéral Suisse des Affaires Etrangères, un atelier sur la promotion de la paix au Sahel a eu lieu à Nouakchott, Mauritanie du 1 au 3 septembre 2014. Cet atelier a réuni 21 participants du Tchad, Niger, Mali, et de la Mauritanie, où ils avaient analysé conjointement la situation actuelle en mettant l’accent sur les principales dynamiques et les lignes de conflits, identifier des points d’entrée potentiels et mis en lumière les principaux acteurs de la région.
