CPI Collaboration with MiCT on Inclusive Media Practices

CPI collaborated with the German NGO “Media in Cooperation and Transition” (MiCT) in organising an event on the interplay between conflict, media coverage and reconciliation. CPI supported MiCT in organising and facilitating a focus group at the Cordoba Cultural Café in Tal Afar on 27 May 2023. The focus group addressed the issue of inclusive media practices and their importance for social cohesion, and participants in the two sessions of the meeting included a group of NGO directors, local government representatives, youth volunteers, activists and media personnel from the city of Tal Afar.
