Interfaith in Action in Burkina faso

As part of the project supported by the Templeton Religion Trust (TRT) to help reduce interfaith tensions and promote social cohesion in Burkina Faso and Nigeria, CPI undertook with its local partner, “Développement Solidaire / Walam Walle” (DS/WW) in Burkina Faso, the mapping of the relevant actor to associate in the project, and a list was established based on a set of criteria. CPI organized a three days workshop to train participants in conflict transformation, social cohesion and religious perspectives on peacebuilding, and to share experiences. The workshop was held Ouagadougou between December 12 and 14, 2022. The Christian perspective was presented by Henri Rouamba from the “Communauté du Chemin Neuf”, and the Islamic perspective by Abbas Aroua from CPI.
