Constructive Alternative Narratives in Nigeria
CPI is implementing a project entitled “Constructive Alternative Narratives” in partnership with DAAC, funded by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. On 17 and 18 January 2023, a workshop was organized with the 10 representatives of 5 communities (Bama, Gwoza/Pulka, Konduga, Magumeri and Maiduguri Metropolitan Council) involved in reconciliation and reintegration efforts at the local level. This workshop concluded the work undertaken throughout the project which aims to promote the forgiveness and reintegration of men and women associated with Boko Haram through capacity building in alternative conflict resolution methods and by promoting the use of different tools for conflict transformation and peace-making by communities.
يقوم المعهد بتنفيذ مشروع بعنوان “سرديات بديلة بناءة” بالشراكة مع “مركز دار الأندلس”، بتمويل من وزارة الخارجية السويسرية. في 17 و 18 يناير 2023، تمّ تنظيم ورشة عمل مع 10 ممثلين من 5 مجتمعات (مجلس باما، غوزا/بولكا، كوندوغا، ماغوميري ومايدوغوري متروبوليتان) المشاركين في جهود المصالحة وإعادة الإدماج على المستوى المحلي. اختتمت الورشة العمل الذي تمّ إنجازه خلال المشروع والذي يهدف إلى تعزيز التسامح وإعادة دمج الرجال والنساء المرتبطين بجماعة بوكو حرام من خلال بناء القدرات في طرق بديلة لحل الخلافات وتعزيز استخدام الأدوات المختلفة لترشيد الخلاف وصنع السلام من قبل المجتمعات.
CPI met en œuvre un projet intitulé « Constructive Alternative Narratives » en partenariat avec DAAC, financé par le Département fédéral suisse des affaires étrangères. Les 17 et 18 janvier 2023, un workshop a été organisé avec les dix représentants de cinq communautés (Bama, Gwoza/Pulka, Konduga, Magumeri and Maiduguri Metropolitan Council) impliquées dans les efforts de réconciliation et de réintégration au niveau local. Cet atelier a permis de conclure le travail entrepris tout au long du projet qui vide à promouvoir le pardon et la réintégration des hommes et des femmes associés à Boko Haram à travers le renforcement de capacité en méthodes alternatives de résolution de conflit et en favorisant l’utilisation de différents outils de transformation des conflits et de restauration de la paix par les communautés.
