Sport Brings Us Together: Football Competition

From 11 April to 29 May 2022, CPI, in collaboration with the Talafar Youth and Sports Centre, organised a football tournament at the Centre, with the participation of 16 teams from local government departments and institutions in Talafar. 30 matches were organised with the participation of more than 200 players of different ages. Sport brings us together was organised with the aim of reintegrating returnees into the host community by involving them in social activities. Bringing together people from all regions of Talafar around football helps them to build trust, communication, peace, and to combat hatred and extremism.
