Poetry Festival and Art Exhibition

On 5 March 2022, the CPI, in cooperation with the Talafar Cultural Forum, held the Turkmen Poetry Festival for Young Turkmen Poets at the Talafar Youth and Sports Centre. The festival was attended by more than 150 participants including officials and tribal leaders. The festival included the recitation of many poems by young poets calling for peace and coexistence in Talafar in the Turkmen language. On the same day, CPI organised an art exhibition with the participation of 20 young artists, based on a gender balance approach, with their works expressing peace, coexistence and beauty of Talafar city. At the end of the festival and exhibition, the poets, artists and participants of the festival and exhibition were honoured by CPI with certificates of appreciation.
