Religion for Peace?
On 5-6 June 2023, CPI participated in a workshop on “Religion for Peace? Identifying Conditions and Mechanisms of Interfaith Peace”, organised by the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) in Berlin. The workshop, which brought together some twenty scholars and peace practitioners, focused on various facets of interfaith relations, particularly the role that religion can play for peace. It aimed to identify the conditions and mechanisms that facilitate interfaith peace, and to explore the actors and approaches involved in strengthening peaceful relations between religious communities.

شارك المعهد في 5-6 يونيو 2023 في ورشة عمل حول “الدين من أجل السلام؟ تحديد شروط وآليات السلام بين الأديان”، الذي نظمه المعهد الألماني للدراسات العالمية ودراسات المناطق في برلين. وركّزت ورشة العمل، التي جمعت حوالي عشرين باحثًا وممارسًا للسلام، على جوانب مختلفة من العلاقات بين الأديان، لا سيما الدور الذي يمكن أن يلعبه الدين من أجل السلام.

Religion pour la paix ?
CPI a participé les 5 et 6 juin 2023 à un atelier intitulé « Religion pour la paix ? Identifier les conditions et les mécanismes de la paix interconfessionnelle », organisé par l’Institut allemand pour les études globales et régionales (GIGA) à Berlin. L’atelier, qui a rassemblé une vingtaine d’universitaires et de praticiens de la paix, s’est concentré sur les différentes facettes des relations interconfessionnelles, en particulier sur le rôle que la religion peut jouer pour la paix.
