CFG Ongoing Programmes
The Cordoba Foundation of Geneva has recently relaunched its programme entitled "Islam in Europe" in order to promote coexistence and diversity, and to reinforce the positive dimension of the notion of citizenship.
The programme’s vision is of inclusive multicultural societies in which the different social groups interact peacefully, aiming to promote diversity and coexistence within European societies. The main objectives of this programme are: to improve knowledge on Islam in Europe; strengthen the notions of coexistence, diversity and citizenship; provide tools to manage tensions related to the issue of Islam in the public space (education, media, political milieu); offer a safe mediation space in order to foster interactions and discussions relating to Islam in Europe.
